Sunday Snippets–A Catholic Carnival

Each Sunday, Rann hosts “Sunday Snippets,” where various Catholic bloggers post links to their sites. Join us each week at her blog, “This That and the Other Thing,” for some good Catholic blogging.

Here are my posts from this past week:

Some wisdom from St. Augustine (maybe I’ll keep this as a weekly tradition, as I’ve been doing it the past several weeks):

Q: Why is God present differently in each person?

A: A sound is not received by a deaf person, is not received entirely by a partially deaf person, is received completely by those who hear, although the sound itself does not vary but is equally present to all. How much more perfect is God who cannot be divided like sound into temporal intervals but who can be wholly present to all persons, although they possess Him in proportion to their own capacities.

  1. I enjoy reading your “words of wisdom” quotes by St. Augustine, so I do hope you continue with them each week. 🙂

    • Glad you like it! I’ll keep that up.
