Sunday Snippets–A Catholic Carnival

Like reading Catholic blogs? Or are you a Catholic blogger looking to showcase your own site? If so, join Rann at “This That and the Other Thing” each week for “Sunday Snippets.”

Here are my posts from last week:

Now for a nugget of wisdom from St. Augustine:

We cannot see God. But from the effects of love in a human person we can come to some kind of knowledge of love. It is love that impels feet to go to church, that moves hands to feed the poor, that focuses eyes on the needs of others, that turns ears to listen to a sermon. Anyone whose love of God prompts the above effects knows what love is. Yet God is love without feet, without hands, without eyes and without ears. God’s love is invisible.

Have a happy Labor Day!
