Litany of the Saints

We had a wonderful Easter Vigil mass at my parish. About 40 people were received into the Church. It’s always wonderful to see that each year, and just three years ago, I was among those entering the Church. Just before the baptisms are performed, we sing a litany of the saints. I recall how moved I felt when it was sung during the Vigil when I was confirmed. Here’s a beautiful litany of the saints (not the one sung at my parish) by Matt Maher.

  1. Love the litany of Saints! What a wonderful gift of examples and inspiration!

    • They certainly are. That’s one of the things I love about the Catholic Church: the saints! I really missed out on those as I was growing up.

  2. Hey, Evan! I stumbled on your blog by accident today. Thanks for sharing with us! I came into full communion with the Catholic Church last Saturday. Yes, the litany of the Saints was VERY moving!!

    Blessings!

    • Welcome to the Church! As I mentioned, this is my 3rd anniversary as a Catholic. Be blessed!
